The States of Rhodea was abolished on January 1, 2009. That also includes states as electoral districts. All powers and responsibilities of the states are transferred to the communes, and thus increasing the local government and independence, while decreasing bureaucracy. For elections, senators, presidents and representatives. These are elected at the same way as before, but not any longer by states (proportional election).
